L’Arche Arnprior is shaped by people who bring their time, talents, friendship, ideas, generosity, and presence. Some are here every day. Others join us for an event, volunteer a few hours, become a community partner, or simply stay connected. There are many ways to be part of L’Arche Arnprior.

Share your time. Bring what you love.
Volunteering at L’Arche doesn’t have to mean fitting into a predetermined role. Maybe you love gardening, cooking, music, art, sports, woodworking, photography, or being outdoors. Perhaps you enjoy helping at events, sharing a particular skill, or simply spending time with people. Tell us what you enjoy and what you’d like to contribute. Together, we can explore where your gifts might meet an opportunity.

Do work that matters - with people who matter.
Our work begins with people: their goals, choices, relationships, gifts, challenges, hopes, and everyday lives.
Working at L’Arche means providing excellent support and doing your work well. It also means building relationships, taking responsibility, learning from experience, and contributing to something larger than yourself.
We trust people with meaningful responsibility. We want employees who are willing to think, notice, ask questions, exercise good judgment, take appropriate initiative, and follow through on their commitments.
People come to L’Arche from many different backgrounds. Some have years of experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities. For others, L’Arche is an entirely new experience. We value people who are curious about others, dependable, willing to learn, open to feedback, and able to recognize strengths and possibilities in the people around them.

Gather With Us
Sometimes getting involved simply means showing up.
Throughout the year, L’Arche Arnprior hosts celebrations, fundraisers, community gatherings, and other opportunities to come together. You don’t need to work here, live here, or already know someone at L’Arche to join us. Come meet some people. Share a meal. Attend an event. Discover L’Arche for yourself.
